Waterston Lodge is located just on the outskirts of Glasson in Co. Westmeath. The centre provides a sense of rural area for young people to kick back and relax within the countryside environment. There are a number of activities that young people can engage in while residing in Waterston Lodge, including as horse riding, water sports and GAA to name but a few. We are also quite close to amenities such as the sport leisure centre, local clubs and schools which can cater for the interests of young people.

It is a spacious four-bedroom detached centre with a large entrance hall, two TV rooms, activity room, kitchen/dining area, two bathrooms and a conservatory with a view of the large rear garden.

Our outdoor area has a large front and rear back garden for recreational use where young people can engage in fun activities, practise sports or relax and engage in conversations.

We are a 5 minute drive from our nearest large town of Athlone. Other nearby towns include Longford and Mullingar.

“Waterston Lodge is a homely environment where the safety and well-being of all young people is paramount.

The staff of Waterston Lodge work closely with all stakeholders involved in the young peoples lives. They ensure that young people are centre to all decisions and will support, guide and advocate for them, depending on their individual needs. Waterston Lodge is a place where meaningful relationships are formed based on trust and respect with both young people and their families, where individuality can be embraced, one’s identity is encouraged, and the rights of everyone is promoted.”
